Job Title: Junior .NET Developer
Location: Kansas City Preferred/Remote
Type: 1099 30-40 hours a week
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior .NET Developer to join our development team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundational understanding of software development and a desire to grow their skills in a production environment using modern technologies. You'll work closely with our senior developer and technical management to support and build web applications and internal tools using the .NET ecosystem.

Languages & Frameworks:
C# with .NET 6.0 / ASP.NET Core MVC
Razor Views
JavaScript, HTML, CSS
jQuery and Bootstrap for front-end UI
Database:
Microsoft SQL Server
Major Libraries & Components:
Entity Framework Core for ORM and data access
Hangfire & Quartz for background jobs and scheduling
SignalR for real-time features and notifications
Serilog (with AWS CloudWatch sink) for structured logging
PDF & Document Generation: Wkhtmltopdf.NetCore, Aspose.PDF, Rotativa
Cloud & DevOps Tools:
AWS SDKs (S3, CloudWatch Logs, Core)
Logging and Monitoring integrations with AWS
Authentication:
ASP.NET Identity for user and role management
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have:
Solid understanding of C# and ASP.NET Core MVC
Basic experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Familiarity with relational databases (preferably MS SQL Server)
Willingness to learn and work with cloud services (especially AWS)
Nice to Have:
Exposure to any of the listed libraries/tools (Hangfire, SignalR, Serilog, etc.)
Experience building Razor views and working with frontend libraries
Understanding of authentication/authorization systems
Soft Skills:
Eagerness to learn and take initiative
Strong attention to detail
Good communication and teamwork skills
