Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Feasibility Engineer plays a pivotal role within the engineering team, responsible for assessing and determining the manufacturability of product designs. This position requires a keen understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure that product designs can be produced efficiently, economically, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Engineer evaluates customers' products including specifications to develop manufacturing plans and produce the products according to the customer's needs.

Review 3D CAD and Product drawings individually and with a Team to develop Process Development, cycle time analysis, joining requirements, Ergonomic evaluations.

Provide timely feedback and follow up to Sales, Engineering and Program Management

Document steps via feasibility worksheet and update in PLEX.

Good Communication skills / Self motivated

Follow up constantly.

Elevate issues for resolution. Required Skills/Abilities:

Attention to Detail as it relates to the customer part(s) and success of working Teams to define manufacturing feasibility

Ability to understand process flow and timing.

NX CAD software (secondary)

CATIA software (secondary)

Email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Good Communication skills / Self motivated

Follow up constantly.

Elevate issues for resolution. Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field is preferred.

At least 5 years' related experience required. Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at times.
