About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and drive ASME-compliant quality systems, internal audits, and supplier evaluations across our engineering operations. If you're hands-on with N-stamp certification, QA manual preparation, and code compliance - and you're ready to take full ownership of quality processes - this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Lead preparation, implementation, and maintenance of ASME N, S, U, NB stamps and PED 2014/68/EU quality compliance.
Develop and review ASME Quality Assurance Manuals, procedures, and audit formats.
Conduct internal audits across design, manufacturing, welding, coating, NDE, and other technical departments.
Interpret and apply codes such as ASME Section I, III, VIII, IX, B16.34, B31.1, and B31.3.
Manage quality documentation for supplier approvals (casting, forging, heat treatment, plating, fabrication, etc.).
Perform or oversee NDT Level II inspections (LPT, MPI, UT, RT, VT) as per ASNT-TC-1A.
Support welding qualification processes and contribute to continuous improvement in QA systems.
Required Skills & Expertise
B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with 10–15 years of QA experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification in ISO 9001, ISO 29001, and API Spec Q1.
Deep familiarity with welding techniques (GTAW, SMAW, TIG); welding qualifications are an advantage.
Strong grasp of technical documentation, QA workflows, and cross-functional coordination.
Proficient in MS Office and QA reporting tools.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
