Vacancies: 3 Positions Available

Hours: 16 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Working Weeks: 2 posts: 39 working weeks (with holiday pay: 43.689 weeks) & 1 post: 35 working weeks (with holiday pay: 39.208 weeks)

Salary: £12.21 per hour - £8,535.09 (39 weeks) or £7,659.68 (35 weeks)

We’re currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to join our friendly team at Alsager School. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to make a difference in a rewarding setting, this is the role for you.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold food and drinks

Supporting food prep, including sandwiches and chilled items

Providing excellent customer service front of house

Clearing tables, till operation, and taking payments

Maintaining stock levels and ensuring effective stock rotation

Keeping the kitchen and service areas clean and hygienic through general housekeeping duties

We aim to ensure all staff are multi-skilled, adaptable, and well supported through hands-on training and our dedicated e-learning portal.

What We’re Looking For:

Must be aged 18 or over

Previous experience in catering is desirable

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Willing and able to obtain a food safety certification

Physically capable of tasks such as lifting, standing, bending, and moving stock
