Superintendent for Painting Contractor

Martin Painting is seeking a Field Superintendent to lead and manage a team of approximately 150 painters across various job sites. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the demands of the field, and is ready to grow with a company that values leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day field operations and manpower allocation

Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to company standards

Support, lead and mentor foremen and field staff to uphold quality, efficiency, and teamwork

Coordinate closely with project managers, clients, and safety personnel

Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress tracking

Implement and enforce safety and compliance protocols

Complete daily safety and job status reports

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in commercial or industrial painting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role

Proven ability to manage multiple crews and large-scale projects

Strong understanding of coatings, surface prep, and job sequencing

Comfortable with technology—must be able to use project tracking software, mobile apps, and digital reporting tools

Strong communication and organizational skills

Valid driver's license and clean driving and criminal record
