Full Time Motor Mechanic

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 + superannuation

Job Type: Full-time

This well established and busy auto centre is growing rapidly and is seeking a qualified and experienced motor mechanic, ideally with experience in a variety of brands to join its team of skilled staff.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Identify Faults on Vehicles

• Dismantle, Remove and replace any faulty parts and components as per the specification

• Service and repair of vehicles as per requirements

• Change engine oil, oil filter, and perform Engine turn ups

• Service and repair manual and automatic transmission system and clutch assemblies

• Inspect and repair suspension system

• Check and Service Emission control system

• Carry out preventative maintenance on vehicles

• Maintain vehicles Roadworthy at all times

REQUIRED SKILLS

o Must have a minimum 2 years of general work experience in automotive Repairs

o Hold a Certificate III Light Vehicle Mechanics Or equivalent

o Diagnostic experience / competency

o Dismantling experience

o Strong problem-solving skills

o Strong team leadership skills

o Excellent communication skills

o Team player with the ability to work to schedules and meet deadlines
