CNC Machinist and Programmer

Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist and Programmer for a company based in Marietta, GA specializing in manufacturing precision machine components. Pay Rate

$30.00 to 40.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Overtime during the week and on Saturdays as needed

CNC Machinist and Programmer Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes according to job specifications, including adjusting collets, jaws, and material feeds as needed.

• Retrieve, input, and modify preprogrammed machine instructions using Mazatrol; adjust feeds, speeds, and tools for optimal performance.

• Monitor machine operation, perform basic maintenance, log daily checks, and ensure proper lubrication.

• Read blueprints and job orders to determine dimensions, tolerances, and production quantities.

• Inspect machined parts using gauges, micrometers, and indicators to verify quality and conformance.

• Follow documented procedures and safety standards; assist in training and support team cross-training as required.

• Perform additional duties assigned by supervision.

CNC Machinist and Programmer Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of CNC lathe experience.

• Proficient in Mazak machines and Mazatrol programming required.

• Strong blueprint reading and part inspection skills.

• High attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Drug screening and background check is required.
