A Senior Project Engineer with 10+ years' experience in engineering and project management is needed in Mobile. The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for managing moderately complex engineering projects-from planning through closeout-ensuring on-time delivery, adherence to budget, and high-quality outcomes. This role oversees financials, schedules, scope, and client relationships to deliver successful results.
Senior Project Manager Responsibilities
Estimate and manage professional services hours to meet objectives within budget.
Administer commercial contracts, including billing, change orders, and monthly earnings tracking.
Monitor project cost performance, schedules, quality, and scope using project control tools.
Participate in technical, cost, scheduling, and performance decision-making for assigned projects.
Clarify project scope, specifications, and deliverables; align internal teams and clients on objectives.
Champion scope and design change processes to ensure timely approval and promote disciplined change control.
Build and maintain productive project teams-both internal and client-facing-recognizing key contributions.
Coordinate resource allocation across multiple projects to meet workload demands.
Develop project plans, communicate schedules, and align stakeholder expectations; lead weekly coordination meetings.
Track action items and produce timely weekly and monthly progress reports.
Review engineering and vendor submittals for compliance with specifications, drawings, and best practices.
Ensure standard processes are followed throughout engineering, procurement, and construction phases.

Provide construction-phase support, startup assistance, and respond to RFIs as needed.

Anticipate client needs and proactively address concerns at all project stages. Senior Project Manager Qualifications
10+ years in engineering and project management, ideally within process industries (e.g., refinery, petrochemical, industrial).
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
PE license and/or PMP certifications are preferred but not required.
Deep understanding of engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction processes.
Strong project controls, financial tracking, contract administration, and change management skills.
Ability to lead teams through complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
Proven client relationship management in challenging projects.
