Must currently hold and have the ability to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly US Clearance.

What You'll Do: Either at the client's site or from an Oracle location, you will be responsible for resolution of moderately complex technical problems related to the installation, configuration, recommended maintenance and use and repair/workarounds for Oracle products, including but not limited to Oracle Database, Oracle Exadata, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will be expected to work with only general guidance from management while advising management on progress/status. Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Because of substantial customer interfacing responsibilities, a demonstrated ability to work with customers on an independent basis with exceptional communication skills, while consistently achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction is essential.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred with 10+ years related experience. Experience with Oracle's core products, applications, and tools is important.

Technical Skills

8 to 10 years of relevant experience as Oracle Core DBA.

Should have worked in DBA Managed Services environment.

Responsible for monitoring, managing Mission critical database Production environments.

Experience in troubleshooting day to day database issues.

Experience in handling complex database backup and recovery scenarios using RMAN.

Experience in database migrations (OCI, platform migration) and upgrades.

Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in the following areas: RAC, RAT testing, ASM, Exadata system configurations, Data Guard (Physical and Logical), DG Broker, SQL Developer, Table and Index partitioning, and others.

Strong Performance tuning skills – Query level tuning / DB tuning / Memory level tuning.

Experience with and ability to work with big data and navigate associated challenges.

Experience in troubleshooting various installation and patching issues.

Experience in Oracle engineered systems like Exadata, Supercluster, etc.

Experience in database security - SSL encryption, TDE, Audit Vault, OKV etc.

Experience in OS administration (Linux, Solaris), virtualization, storage (ZFS, ZDLRA).

Experience in automation using Shell scripts, Perl, Python, Ansible etc.

Experience with SQL and PL/SQL programming

Experience in Oracle Text -- Legacy and KGram.

Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) is a plus.

Experience in Cloud -- OCI preferred.

Willingness to be on call 24x7

Education:

Ideally, the individual will have degree(s) in Computer Science / Information Systems / Computer Engineering

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
