SUMMARY:
This position oversees the administration of the Quality Management System (QMS) with the authority to manage all activities affecting quality. The Quality Manager provides leadership in developing, implementing, and maintaining QMS policies and procedures in accordance with approved quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Formulate and manage goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems for Quality Assurance.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality and report on them regularly to management.
Maintain and enhance the QMS to ensure compliance with international, regulatory, statutory, and customer requirements, including preparation for audits and inspections.
Manage documentation related to the QMS guidelines.
Ensure that all quality-related documentation is accurate, complete, and maintained in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Lead Quality Assurance and improvement initiatives (e.g., cost of quality reduction, audit systems, CAPA) for all products and processes.
Maintain an internal quality audit program, ensuring that all findings are addressed and corrective actions are taken.
Identify organization-wide quality training needs; develop training programs, and administering training.
Monitor supplier quality performance and initiate programs to ensure suppliers meet organization and customer expectations.
Collaborate with suppliers to enhance quality and resolve issues related to supplier performance.
Coordinate responses to customer non-conformances.
Provide leadership to the Quality team through effective communications, coaching, training and development.
Direct and coordinate quality specifications, standards, inspection and testing procedures for raw materials, processes, and finished products.
Develop quality control plans and process control procedures.
Establish testing policies and procedures that will meet the quality control needs of the organization.
Manage all quality documents, samples, customer communications, supplier development, product start-up, product launch, and correction of product variance and warranty analysis.
Represent the quality function in technical support and collaborate with other internal support groups.
Promote Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodologies.
Operate in and foster a continuous improvement environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing required.
Minimum 5 years supervision experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in the development and implementation of quality systems and standards (ISO9001, IATF16949, FMEAs, PPAP, Control Plans, etc.)
Strong problem-solving, data analysis, administration, and change management skills.
Knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma programs.
Ability to resolve problems and handle stressful situations professionally.
Must be detail-oriented.
