BENEFITS & COMPENSATION
Compensation: $130,000 to $150,000 per year
PTO: 20 days growing to 25 days after 5 years + 11 paid holidays
Retirement: 401(k) match up to 9%
Medical: Health care, dental, vision + HSA contribution up to $1,500 (Family)/$1,000 (Single)
Other: Annual performance bonus, paid parental leave, paid sabbatical after 8 years, education assistance, paid volunteer time
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE SENIOR DATA ENGINEER
Develop and optimize data pipeline architecture and data flow for cross-functional teams
Build AWS infrastructure using Python, PySpark, and various AWS services
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD practices
Build analytics tools for actionable business insights
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers
Maintain and optimize database and analytics systems
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE SENIOR DATA ENGINEER
5+ years of experience with Python and building data pipelines
Experience working in a technical Amazon QuickSight Environment
3+ years of experience with AWS services and infrastructure as code
Strong knowledge of Terraform and GitHub
Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure automation
AWS certifications are a plus
