Job Description

Job Tittle: Microbiology Tech III

Columbus Ohio 43219

Shift: 08:30am to 05:00 pm

Duration: 6+ month contract on w2 (possibility of extension and conversion)

Main Responsibilities:

Media making tasks

Perform audits on equipment

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

Sterilization of lab equipment

Test environmental samples; Swab samples and water samples.

Glassware sterilization

autoclave usage

Preventative maintenance on equipment

Auditing on equipment

Testing samples; powder, liquid, and raw ingredients.

Skills:

Excellent communication and writing skills

1 year is Micro lab (preferred), or lab experience( If they have lab experience they can be a fresh grad)

Plating

Micro research is a plus

Detail oriented

Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or any Science with Micro experience. Master’s degree wouldn’t be considered overqualified.

Additional:

Assignment has possibility of extension. If the candidate works out there can be extensions and possibility of full-time offer should a full-time position open.

Some travel between main site and Columbus Plant for sample collection/testing. About a 15-20 minute drive.
