CNC Programmer
Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay Range: $30 – $45 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time On-Site
Position Overview:
A precision manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support machining operations by developing accurate and efficient CNC programs for high-quality component production. This role is critical in ensuring production efficiency, minimizing material waste, and supporting overall manufacturing quality. Candidates should have strong technical expertise in CNC programming, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret job orders, engineering drawings, technical specifications, and CAD models to generate CNC programs
Create geometric layouts and machining paths using CAM software
Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feed rates, and machining operations for optimal performance
Sequence operations for efficient manufacturing and create reference points for machine setup
Collaborate with machinists and operators to troubleshoot and resolve programming issues
Recommend process improvements to enhance machining quality and reduce cycle times or scrap
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality standards
Adhere to all safety protocols and report potential hazards promptly
Maintain consistent on-site attendance and availability during scheduled work hours
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Technical training in CNC programming, drafting, or mechanical engineering is preferred
Minimum 2 years of CNC programming experience with broad knowledge of machining and CNC operations
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and process control documentation
Experience with Catia, SolidWorks, and NX required
Familiarity with Vericut software is required
Experience with Predator is a plus
Aerospace industry experience is highly desirable
