POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The full stack developer is responsible for planning, designing, coding, testing, troubleshooting, integrating, and maintaining applications in a .NET environment. They will also support security management, performance monitoring, and enhancements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience with full stack development
Extensive experience in large scale design and implementation projects
Experience with developing inclusive and accessible user interfaces
Masters in Computer Science or related field (desired)
Experience working with education systems or Department of Education (desired)
CERTIFICATIONS:
Microsoft Certified: Application Developer Associate or equivalent
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and implement adaptable and innovative features across the full technology stack (frontend, backend and database)
Develop modular, scalable and reusable code focused on performance and security
Collaborate with UI/UX designer and business analyst to create intuitive interfaces
Contribute to system architecture and code reviews
Ensure the technology stack aligns with DOE standards and cybersecurity standards with seamless integration with modern tools
SKILLS:
Expertise in software analysis, design, estimation, development, testing, enhancements, support, and related activities through different stages of SDLC process.
Proficient working with .NET 9+ Framework, C#, SQL Server, Angular/React, REST APIs, Azure DevOps, Git
Familiarity with enterprise data integration and authentication frameworks
Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+)
Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams as well as independently
Ability to clearly communicate risks, obstacles, and issues
