POD and Transport Admin Clerk
Menzies Distribtuion Solutions are looking to recruit a POD Clerk based from our Corby depot. Your role will work closely with the transport department, customer service and finance to ensure that we have received all required proof of deliveries from other depots, internally or via our subcontractors. You will work with customer services to resolve any delivery queries and ensure that all queries are dealt with in a timely fashion.
The Details:
Salary: £23,887.50 Per Annum, £12.25 Per Hour
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday
Start & Finish Times: Flexible day time role ( or 08:00-16:00)

Key Duties and Accountabilities (will include but not be limited to):
Onsite Parking
Engage with Depots and External Subcontractors to retrieve PODs in a timely manner
Answering and responding to all incoming queries in a prompt and polite manner
Ensure all queries/concerns from Depots and Subcontractors are dealt with in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.
Liaising with the management team ensuring the smooth operation in line with the transport department
Monitor and chase documentation in support of the transport operation
Undertake administrative and filing duties to meet the needs of the transport department
Collation of accurate data so finance are able to create PO numbers
Dealing with customer and supplier enquiries and complaints from investigation through to closure
Track and Trace collections and deliveries from site
Support transport operational team with day-to-day tasks as required
Key Experience and Qualifications:
Excellent Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office, Word & Excel)
Previous administration experience
Good numeric skills – Including accuracy
Technical skills and behavioural competencies:
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and numeracy skills
Able to be agile working within a fast paced environment
Enthusiastic and energetic personality
Able to prioritise workload
Ability to work on own initiative, demonstrates organisational skills
