Pedigree, Cesar, Nutro, Royal Canin, Iams, Whiskas, Sheba pet food and Greenies and temptations treats.
What is the Required Shift?
Monday- Friday: 7am- 3:30pm

Job Purpose:
The Meat Prep Operator is responsible for supplying frozen meat to the factory via forklift in a timely manner while following safety protocols and production needs.
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirement:
High School diploma or GED
Mechanical aptitude
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).
Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot, cold, wet, dust, dirt and chemicals.
Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping
Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods
Ability to read, write and understand English
Preferred Qualifications:
Forklift experience
1+ years of manufacturing experience
Computer / IPad literate
RF Scanner/Blue Yonder/JDA experience
What will be my Responsibilities?
Comply with Mars Petcare Quality and Food Safety Practices, GMPs, and other Food Safety and Regulatory Standards to ensure we manufacture a quality product.
This area consists of the Haarslev, meat screws, grinders, and bunkers.
Changing the grinder blades/hole plates, as necessary.
Process meat based on the recipe needs using the order screen for normal production and changeovers.
Operate and drive forklifts to transfer meat.
Assist in system start-up and shutdown activities
Effectively communicate with peers, lead, area coordinator, and manager.
Preform CIL’s and document abnormalities
Any ad hoc requests
