Position Overview

We are seeking a versatile AI Engineer to join our growing technology team and help build the future of legal AI. This role is perfect for a hands-on technologist who thrives on variety and can work across the full spectrum of AI technologies - from building machine learning models to implementing voice AI solutions and creating intelligent automations. We're particularly interested in engineers with experience in modern real-time conversational AI platforms. You'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects that directly impact how we serve our clients and practice law.

Key Responsibilities

AI Development & Implementation

Build and deploy AI solutions for various legal use cases including document processing, client communication, and case analysis

Work with machine learning models for classification, prediction, and information extraction

Implement voice AI solutions that can handle complex, multi-turn conversations with natural language understanding

Create intelligent automation workflows using n8n and other platforms

Build voice agents capable of real-time responses with human-like conversational flow

Integration & Automation

Design and build integrations between AI services and existing systems (like Salesforce/Litify)

Connect real-time voice AI platforms with phone systems, CRM, and web applications.

Develop automated workflows to streamline legal processes using tools like n8n.

Use APIs and connectors to enable AI capabilities across platforms.

Build data pipelines for AI model training and deployment

Voice & Conversational AI

Experience with modern real-time conversational AI platforms that offer low-latency, natural voice interactions

Develop NLP models for understanding legal terminology and client queries

Create conversational flows for automated client interactions

Build custom voice agents with natural-sounding synthesis and real-time response capabilities

Integrate voice AI systems with phone systems and web applications

Technical Operations

Monitor and optimize AI system performance

Implement best practices for model deployment and monitoring

Document technical solutions and create user guides

Collaborate with legal teams to identify and prioritize AI opportunities

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

Strong experience with n8n or similar automation platforms

Hands-on experience with voice AI and NLP technologies

Experience building real-time voice agents with sub-second response times

Familiarity with APIs of ChapGPT & Anthropic.

Understanding of APIs, webhooks, and system integration

Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices

Professional Experience

3-5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related field

Proven track record of building and deploying AI solutions

Hands-on experience with modern voice AI platforms, particularly those offering real-time conversation capabilities

Experience with both traditional ML and modern LLM applications

Background in creating production-ready systems

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving abilities with a practical mindset

Excellent communication skills for working with non-technical stakeholders

Ability to context-switch between different types of AI projects

Self-directed learner who stays current with AI trends

Team player who enjoys collaborative environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the legal industry or legal tech

Familiarity with Salesforce Litify platform

Experience with document processing and OCR technologies

Background building custom voice agents with real-time, natural conversation capabilities

Experience with modern voice AI platforms that support WebSocket connections and streaming responses

Understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements
