Gastroenterology APP - Four Shifts - Venice, Florida

Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is seeking to employ an AGACNP/PA-C with specialization in Gastroenterology to join their growing employed physician group on the West Coast of Florida.

Our Gastroenterology practice was developed in 2020 and has quickly expanded to eight (8) Board-Certified Gastroenterologists, four (4) Advanced Gastroenterologists, and 13 Advanced Practice Providers caring for the communities of SMH-Sarasota and SMH-Venice hospital.

Opportunity Highlights:

Full time employed opportunity in Venice, Florida.

Conduct physical exams and treat patients with GI conditions primarily in a clinic-based role.

Four (4) 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and will include one weekend of inpatient rounding a month.

No call requirements

Open to new graduates, will train an enthusiastic team player with a passion for GI.

Requirements:

Current NCCPA or ANCC certification required and must also have an active license by the State of Florida by the time of hire.

Board Certified Physician Assistant, Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner who has active, relevant and routine experience in 2 of the last 4 years (defined as at least 500 acute care inpatient encounters over two years).

Board Certified Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner, who has active, relevant, and routine experience in 2 of the last 4 years (defined as at least 1,000 acute care inpatient encounters over two years).

ACLS/BLS required.
