Physician Services Representative

This full-time billing specialist role involves reviewing account work lists, follow-up documents, and obtaining current account information, including special circumstances for physician services.

Responsibilities include contacting patients and third-party payers to secure payments or arrange settlement plans, identifying delinquencies, recommending dispositions, and maintaining collection records.

Responsibilities also include processing credit balance refunds and responding promptly to patient account correspondence.

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED, experience with CRT, calculator, and typewriter (minimum 25 WPM), and at least one year of insurance billing or collections experience in a hospital or related field.

Preferred experience includes ICD-10 coding.
