The Physician is responsible for evaluating and treating patients in urgent care or occupational health settings, providing compassionate, respectful care aligned with organizational values.
They ensure proper documentation, coding, and billing for services rendered.
Delivering ethical and exemplary care while maintaining clinical productivity standards.
Follow-up on patient care as needed and supervise APPs (Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners) per guidelines.
Support community relationships through quality patient care.
Essential qualifications include an active Virginia medical license, D.E.A., MD or DO degree, residency in family or emergency medicine, current board certification, BLS, and EHR proficiency.
DOT certification may be required.
Must work occasional weekends and holidays.
Valued skills include experience with x-ray interpretation, suturing, and additional board certifications.
