The PICC RN/Vascular Access Specialist provides expert vascular access services, including bedside insertion of PICCs, midlines, extended dwell catheters, peripheral IVs, and intravascular ports.
Responsibilities include patient assessment, education for patients, families, and staff, and thorough documentation.
Requirements include an RN license, at least 2 years of critical care nursing experience, and preferred vascular access experience.
Must hold current ACLS/BCLS certifications and complete vascular access competency.
Physical demands involve seeing, hearing, talking, standing, bending, lifting up to 20 pounds, and driving.
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
Strong communication, confidentiality, and technical skills are essential.
