Duties

Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals

Analyze financial data to identify potential deductions and credits.

Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks and Lacerte to manage client accounts.

Maintain accurate records of all transactions, ensuring compliance with tax laws.

Conduct thorough reviews of clients' financial documents to ensure accuracy.

Provide guidance on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.

Assist clients with inquiries related to their tax filings.

Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may affect clients.

Qualifications

Proven experience in corporate accounting or as a Tax Preparer is preferred.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.

Proficient in math and financial concepts relevant to tax preparation and bookkeeping.

Familiarity with financial software, including QuickBooks and Lacerte.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts effectively.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
