Our receptionist position is an integral part of our team that drives the momentum for the business. Candidates with a successful sales or customer service background are preferred though not required if you are a dedicated, hard-working team member with a great attitude.
This position has one main responsibility, and that is to help make sure pets stay happy and healthy. This is done through direct contact with their owners, our clients. Handling clients with a caring, upbeat and positive attitude is a must. You will be busy answering incoming calls to assist clients and schedule appointments, reaching out to clients to follow up with how their pets are doing, passing along medical care information from the doctor to the client, as well as greeting and invoicing patient visits. At times these duties (and more) will need to be handled at a fast pace and completed properly and efficiently. Multi-tasking, good organizational skills, remaining calm under pressure, and high self-esteem are must haves for applicants.
Although no veterinary experience is required, all staff members must undergo continual training in the realm of veterinary medicine and customer service. That being said, applicants must have a desire, willingness and affinity to learn.
