Location: Remote, with required proximity (1–2 hours) to one of the following offices: Corning, NY, Charlotte, NC, Vineland, NJ, Phoenix, AZ, Hemlock, MI, Hickory, NC, Blacksburg, VA, Keller, TX, Boston, MA
Pay Rate: $ 55-70 /hr
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Systems Management, or IT-related field (minimum required)
Description
CTG is seeking an experienced MES Software Developer with strong .NET, C#, and Angular development skills to support the design and implementation of Siemens Opcenter Execution solutions across global manufacturing sites. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to engage with stakeholders to deliver high-quality manufacturing system solutions.
Requirements:
• Strategic view and understanding of Siemens Opcenter Execution to lead design and development efforts across the company
• Design, implement, and support manufacturing solutions in accordance with standard IT practices
• Strong technical understanding and experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution modeling and development tools, including Designer and Portal
• Proficiency with technologies including .NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective technical solutions
• Serve as MES lead on global projects, ensuring deliverables are on schedule and well-documented
• Create technical specifications for development teams
Required Qualifications
Education
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Systems Management, or IT-related field
Qualifications
• 5+ years of programming experience in .NET and C#
• 2+ years developing in Siemens Opcenter Execution Designer and Portal
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities
• Experience with IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in source code management and relational databases
• Familiarity with ERP, MES, and shop floor integration

• Understanding of SDLC, TDD, CI/CD
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments
• Angular development experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Track record of successful IT solution delivery
