Summary:

The Section Manager 2 - Credit manages through section supervisors and/or subordinate managers, multiple functions or an area which is comprised of professional and clerical staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Implements new policies and procedures to make the area more efficient and in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.

Acts as a liaison with other departments and/or divisions.

Resolves issues that are strategic or compliance related.

Completes strategic planning and budget for the area.

Monitors, analyzes and reports on the area productivity to senior management.

Establishes quality of service level for the area.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

5 years of experience in risk, regulation compliance, or audit

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent management experience to include coaching, developing and leading others

Well versed in regulatory requirements

Able to accurately interpret and apply policy and procedures and be able to proficiently explain to both internal and external customers

Superior verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Excellent service skills and ability to partner with regional teams and external partners

Proven analytical skills with attention to detail.

Experience with risk accountability, law and regulation compliance and audit/regulatory examination response

Ability to work in a high volume environment with minimal supervision, while maintaining production service levels

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

Customer service oriented

Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high-level of flexibility
