Job Description

Role: Python Developer (Locals Only)

Location: McLean, VA Onsite (F2F Interview)

Visa: No GC, OPT

Key Responsibilities:

Required 12+ years of experience.

Develop and maintain microservices using Python/PySpark.

Design and implement automation solutions with Behave/Cucumber, PyTest, and other test automation tools.

Work closely with database technologies such as Postgres to manage data storage and retrieval.

Leverage AWS services (EKS) for containerized application deployment and management.

Implement and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake and Informatica.

Integrate code quality tools like SonarQube and Fortify into the SDLC.

Maintain and enhance application automation with scheduling tools like AutoSys.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize solutions.

Work in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, peer reviews, and regular team meetings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven hands-on experience with Python/PySpark for building microservices.

Experience with automation testing tools (Behave/Cucumber, PyTest) and scripting frameworks.

Strong SQL skills and experience with Postgres or similar relational databases.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and code quality tools (SonarQube, Fortify).

Exposure to data warehouse technologies (Snowflake, Informatica) is highly desirable.

Proficiency in containerized app deployment on AWS EKS.

Experience with scheduling tools like AutoSys.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
