Senior Data Engineer (Cloudera)

Project duration: contract position/through 6-30-26

Work location: Columbus, OH (hybrid-2-3 days onsite a week)

Seeking a Sr. Data Engineer with:

-Experience collecting and managing Public Health data from public sources, including US Census, Center for Disease Control and Prevention using APIs.

-Exp. collecting and managing public health data from State of Ohio agencies via the Innovation Ohio Platform (IOP).

-Exp. using GIT-based projects in the IOP Cloudera Machine Learning environment (CML) to manage public health data.

-Exp. building data collection, ingestion, and curation processes using CML based services and libraries.

-Exp. developing data automation jobs with Python-based Jupyter Notebook to collect data from remote sources and curate it into Apache HIVE tables.
