Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a Plasma Operator in a medium-sized metal fabrication facility. This role is crucial for the operation and management of various machines including plasma, waterjet, and cutting tables. You will be trained in-house, ensuring you become proficient in all necessary equipment.
Responsibilities
Operate and manage various machines such as plasma, waterjet, and cutting tables.
Ensure efficient production and manufacturing processes.
Perform general labor tasks including assembly and machine operation.
Engage in metal cutting, grinding, and saw operation duties.Essential Skills
3+ years of warehouse experience.
Proficiency in machine operation, particularly plasma, waterjet, and cutting tables.
Experience in manufacturing and production environments.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High initiative and ability to work autonomously.
Strong team player mindset.

Work Environment
Work in a medium-sized metal fabrication facility with a distribution center. The environment is non-AC but clean, with a dedicated team of seven people and a total of 50 people onsite. The role requires wearing covered shoes, a work shirt, and jeans, with no hats or jewelry allowed. The standard shift runs from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for overtime based on production needs.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Houston, Texas. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
