Interpreter-Independent Contractor

Be fluent in both English and target language

Be Certified or be prepared to be tested in interpreted language

Be prepared to have Livescan and Background Checks conducted

Be familiar with HIPPA and Cultural Sensitivity trainings

Adhere to CHIA Professional Code of Conduct standards

Be comfortable with the consecutive interpretation process (Simultaneous a plus)

Strong passion for interpreting and customer service.

Facilitate interpretation in a variety of subjects: in Medical, Business, and Education Settings

Be experienced with both face to face and remote interpreting.
