Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

As a Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d), you are responsible to extend our platform for cloud based backend solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilties:

Working closely with the development team to help build and deploy new services to our GCP cloud hosted infrastructure

Build and maintain our GCP infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code up to date and tested

Monitor and maintain Google Kubernetes Engine setup for our production platform

Maintain tooling such as Grafana, Prometheus to monitor our environments

Troubleshoot technical issues, communicating and documenting procedures, and recommending architectural changes where necessary

Respond to alerts in a timely fashion

Extend our continuous delivery release process, automated roll back procedures and disaster recovery solutions

Maintain and support our on-premises cloud (OpenShift / Kubernetes), build and development infrastructure

Your Profile:

5 or more years of professional experience in IT infrastructure or similar areas

Managing cloud resources

Maintenance and support of development environments

Usage of IaC (e.g. Terraform and/or Ansible)

Linux system administration

Professional Usage of Kafka, PostgreSQL, MQTT

Maintaining critical infrastructure (KRITIS), IT Security knowledge, including management of private and public SSL certificates

Working with Kubernetes and reverse proxies/web servers

Usage of shell scripting

Managing pipelines in Jenkins

Professional experience with source code version controlling e.g. Git

Excellent written and verbal communication (and documentation) skills in English

Self-driven, highly analytical and detail oriented

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Computer Science degree, or equivalent

Nice to Have :

Experience as application software developer, Java, big plus!

Experience with HAProxy, NGINX

Experience working with GCP
