Delivery Driver (PART TIME WEEKENDS AND FULL TIME)

MAK Enterprises is a contractor owned delivery service through Fedex Ground located in Mossy Head, Florida. We are seeking reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to various locations In the Defuniak Springs area. This role requires strong driving skills, the ability to handle up to 150lbs with a hand cart available to assist, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, ranging in size from box truck to p1200

• Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring items are secure

• Follow assigned routes and scheduled duties while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.

• Perform morning vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation before dispatch.

• Communicate effectively with management and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred But not required.

• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 150 pounds with proper equipment to assist) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading Packages.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing delivery schedules Due to scheduled time deliveries.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers management and team members.

Pay:

Daily rate for $140 per day during training period and will increase to $150 after completing routes unassisted. Experience fedex ground delivery drivers can negotiate pay.
