The New York Jets are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with experienced developers to build and maintain custom applications that support various departments across the organization. We are looking for applicants familiar with full-stack web development tools and languages including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL. You should also be comfortable using a language like C# or Python, frameworks such as React, Next.js, MVC.NET, NodeJS, and other common web technologies to develop software for various platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with senior developers to design, build, and maintain custom-built applications
Build responsive, scalable applications using modern frameworks and technologies such as .NET, React, and Node.js
Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews
Maintain technical documentation including comments, user stories, tasks, and bug reports
Troubleshoot and QA issues, bugs and new features with stakeholders
Provide on-call support as necessary for critical production systems
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or experience and knowledge of software development in a related field
1-3 years of web frontend development experience
Solid understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Familiarity with at least one backend language such as C# or Python
Experience working with SQL for data retrieval and management
Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation and passion to learn new technologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
MS SQL database management, C#/.NET experience a plus
Experience with Azure, Databricks and best security development practices a plus
Salary range for this role: USD $65,000 to $80,000 per year and discretionary annual company bonus, dependent on the specific qualifications of the successful candidate.
