Job Summary: The Revenue Cycle Financial Analyst is a member of the Care Advantage corporate finance team under the supervision of the FPA Organization with a dotted line to the Vice President of Finance.

The Revenue Cycle Financial Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to the revenue cycle operations.

This position supports the financial health and operational efficiency by identifying trends, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and developing actionable insights to improve billing, collections, and reimbursement processes.

The Financial Analyst adheres to all Federal, State, Local and Company policies and regulations.

Essential Job Responsibilities: Analyze data across the entire revenue cycle process, including intake, insurance verification, authorizations, billing, coding, claims submission, denials, and collections.

Develop, maintain, and report on KPIs such as denial rates, aging accounts receivable, clean claim rates, and cash collections.

Create dashboards and reports for senior leadership to track revenue cycle performance.

Work with cross-functional teams (clinical, billing, intake, and compliance) to ensure accurate and timely data collection.

Identify revenue leakage and recommend improvements to enhance revenue capture.

Support audits and compliance reviews by preparing and analyzing required documentation.

Monitor payer trends and reimbursement patterns specific to home health, including managed care plans.

Collaborate with IT or data teams to ensure integrity and accuracy of financial and operational data.

Use tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau to present data in a meaningful and actionable format.

Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve workflow efficiency and financial outcomes.

Produce and analyze standard periodic reports such as A/R aging, denial reports, POS collections, revenues by provider/location/payer, and revenue forecasts based on payer mixes and rates Actively participate in and comply with all aspects of Corporate Compliance Programs, follow the Program Code of Conduct and obey all relevant laws, statutes, regulations and requirements applicable to Medicaid, Medicare and other State and Federal health care programs Perform other revenue cycle projects and initiatives as directed by the Vice President of Revenue Cycle and Chief Financial Officer Other job duties as assigned Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, data analytics, or related field and at least 2-4 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle analytic; or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau). Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical data to non-technical users.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
