The Opportunity:

Are you looking for an opportunity to leverage your Cloud Architecture expertise in a high impact role? Booz Allen has an opportunity to showcase your talents by supporting the United States Air Force. We’re looking for a Cloud Application Architect to join the team – You’ll work in a Cloud Software Engineering role, working with teams to leverage and expand your client’s capabilities.

You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, be able to translate customer needs, and assist others in migration and solutioning of mission critical capabilities. You’ll be responsible for working with current and new software development teams, understanding their architecture and development environment tooling to develop onboarding paths to your client’s platform.

You'll have expertise in multiple Cloud Providers and excellent communication skills, be able to work independently while leading others, and be able to work across development teams. You should be able to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You Have:

4+ years of experience with architecting and developing scalable, reliable cloud native applications, such as AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle

3+ years of experience building cloud native microservice full stack applications, such as frontend, backend, or data storage solution

3+ years of experience working in a multi-cloud environment, such as AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle

3+ years of experience working with DoD STIGs or CIS Benchmarks, including hardening virtual servers or adhering to security controls

2+ years of experience with IaC, such as Terraform or Ansible

Experience troubleshooting cloud native application deployments and configurations

Experience troubleshooting application code and configurations

Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree

Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II Certification, including Security+, within 60 days of start date

Nice If You Have:

Experience managing and configuring Ubuntu, RHEL, and Windows Server operating systems

Experience with vulnerability management and dynamic or static code analysis

Experience in Identity Authentication and Authorization, including Single-Sign-On, SAML, or OpenID

Experience with Cloud Native services, such as virtual servers, database services, and networking infrastructure

Experience with Cloud Native account management services, such as AWS Organizations or Azure Management Groups

Top Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
