Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30 (40 hours per week) O/T Available

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join a team, specialising in the fabrication of heat-resistant ducting for industrial and commercial applications.

This is a workshop-based role involving the use of CNC cutting machines and press brake equipment, with a focus on precision and high-temperature metalwork. You'll be working with materials such as stainless steel and other heat-tolerant alloys.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate bespoke heat-resistant ducting and components to technical drawings

Operate CNC machines and press brakes for cutting and forming sheet metal

Work with high-grade materials (e.g. stainless steel, aluminised steel, Inconel)

Carry out assembly, and finishing of ducting systems

Ensure all work meets required safety and quality standards

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines and project requirements

️ Requirements

Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator, ideally with heat-resistant ducting or industrial HVAC

Proficient in CNC machine operation and press brake forming preferred, semi-skilled welcome!

Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings

Experience working with stainless steel and similar alloys

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team

Relevant trade qualifications or time-served apprenticeship desirable
