Senior Frontend Developer - Vue.js – Emergency Services – €95k Berlin

As a Senior Frontend Developer, your role is instrumental in designing and implementing intuitive, secure, and future-ready web applications that support critical infrastructure in the field of homeland security. Collaborating with a dedicated team of experts, customers, and product managers in agile environments, you will contribute to building impactful digital solutions that safeguard society and enhance public safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the development of modern, responsive web applications using Vue.js and JavaScript, ensuring performance, accessibility, and security.

Develop and maintain clean, modular front-end code using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap, aligned with UX/UI best practices.

Implement efficient, secure communication with back-end services through HTTP, REST, and JSON.

Leverage Git for version control and collaborate effectively across distributed teams.

Automate builds and deployment processes using Gradle, Maven, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, ensuring continuous quality and reliability.

Operate confidently in Unix/Linux environments to support development and deployment workflows.

Contribute to technical design discussions and advocate for front-end best practices in a mission-critical, security-sensitive context.

Desired Experience and Skills:

A degree in (business) computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Proven experience in professional front-end development of complex web applications.

Proficiency in Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and REST service integration.

Experience with Git, Gradle/Maven, Jenkins, and Unix/Linux environments.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to code quality and maintainability.

Excellent communication skills in German and English.

Willingness to undergo Ü2 security clearance, be a European citizen, and maintain primary residence in Germany.
