Lead Software Developer - Java, Spring Boot - Cologne

One of Cologne's leading software companies is looking for a hands-on Lead Software Developer to lead a new team of developers on a greenfield product. Using modern technologies, the team are building a brand-new digital platform from scratch which will allow account managers to streamline their products based on customer activity.

What you’ll be doing:

Lead a development team from a technical and disciplinary point of view

Coach and mentor developers

Take responsibility for the conception, design, implementation and quality assurance of Java web applications within microservice architecture

Accompany project cycles and product life cycles

Coordinate with other existing development teams

What you bring:

5+ years of professional experience as a Java Engineer

Some experience in a Lead software position would be a great plus

Sound knowledge of Java technologies and frameworks (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot/Hibernate)

Strong communication skills in German (C1+)
