Role:

Intentionally invest in gaining experience and knowledge for professional, personal, and spiritual development.

Responsibilities:

Sunday mornings

Leadership

Outreach

Engagement: Lead weekly Bible Study, small group, or engagement class

Student Ministry

Special events

Volunteer engagement

Support the Westwood Westonka team and overall projects

Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Align to and live out the Westwood Staff Values: Head High, Heart Soft, Arms Linked, Feet Forward Requirements

Someone who lives a life that honors God in heart, actions, and relationships, with the goal of becoming more like Jesus

A posture of teachability and adaptability

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Ability to attract, equip, resource, and mobilize a diverse group of volunteers

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to handle confidential information professionally

Ability to relate to other Westwood staff and church attenders at large

Agreement with Westwood's vision, values, and beliefs

Participate in required team events: Orientation (September 2nd, 2025) and Intensives (October 13th-15th, 2025 and March 2nd-4th, 2026)

Salary Description

$15/hour
