Highway Engineer

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Ohio Highway Lead to join a thriving civil engineering team focused on delivering high-impact transportation projects. If you're a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a background in Ohio DOT roadway projects and proven leadership experience, this is your opportunity to shape the future of Ohio infrastructure.

What You'll Do:

Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians

Oversee the design and delivery of complex transportation projects

Develop scopes, budgets, and plans for highway projects

Ensure quality control and timely project execution

Build and maintain strong client relationships across public agencies

Document project milestones and maintain organized records

Solve technical challenges while mentoring and growing the local team

What You Bring:

Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in project management

Ohio PE license (required)

Hands-on experience with Ohio DOT projects (strongly preferred)

Strong communication, documentation, and team-building skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects

Passion for mentoring and developing staff
