Controls Support Engineer - Capital Projects & Process Troubleshooting

Compensation: $100,000-$135,000 + Pension Plan
We are seeking a skilled Controls Support Engineer to join our team and play a key role in supporting capital projects and troubleshooting process issues from an electrical and controls perspective.
This is a hands-on, collaborative role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist mechanics and operations teams in diagnosing and resolving process issues related to electrical systems and controls
Support capital projects by specifying equipment, reviewing electrical designs, and overseeing electrical cabinet layouts
Review outsourced design work to ensure compliance with internal standards
Troubleshoot sensors, electrical components, and control systems
Make programming changes to support small-scale improvement initiatives
Contribute to both project execution (60%) and process support (40%) What We're Looking For
Experience in industrial electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation
Strong understanding of PLC programming and electrical schematics
Background in supporting capital projects and troubleshooting automated equipment
Robotics experience is a plus; process experience is a bonus
Ability to work cross-functionally and contribute without direct project management responsibilities
