Position Summary:

Comtech Systems, Inc. (CSI) is looking for a Web Developer to support one of our government clients in Columbia, MD.

Responsibilities:

Develop custom programs for websites that attract and appeal to users, providing the desired information.

Create web applications and components from the requirements stage to design and production deployment.

Develop new Web applications through packaged and customized applications.

Create web front-end user interface to new or existing databases using a combination of HTML, SQL, C, VB, or other languages to make business applications accessible. Design and implement user-driven templates, databases, and interfaces for ease of use.

May create a company-wide Intranet.

Develop database-driven web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.

Develop external web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.

Qualifications:

Experienced in graphics, layout, scripting, programming, as well as development involving compatibility and seamless integration with various technologies such as Java and ColdFusion.nts.

Career-level understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts.

Possess a thorough knowledge of programming and server software operations.

Working under only general direction, able to provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.

Able to independently determine and develop approaches to solutions.

Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain.

Education:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 5 - 7 yrs of experience, or a Master's degree and 3 to 5 yrs of experience.
