Summary/Scope of Work
Provide simulation and training support to the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Mission Training Complex and other distributed training and exercise locations as directed. This offer is available contingent upon contract award.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads the simulation support team
Support training exercises/events designed to train and stress the interactions between echelons. These types of exercises can occur at the Battalion through Corps/JTFlevels and are usually driven with some combination of either low overhead or a high-resolution federation of simulations using JLCCTC MRF-Brigade and Tech Control Forward (TCF), and the future fielding of a JLCCTC MRF-Division system and associated Cross Domain Solution (CDS), JLVC/JCATS, JDLM, LOTS, DXTRS, and/or future Next Generation Constructive (NGC) capabilities. Federates supported can include WIM/WIM UE, JDLM, IEWTPT, AARS, Perspective, FIRESIM/EXCIS, AWSIM, MTWS, and other constructive simulations as directed by the Government.
Minimum Requirements:
US Citizenship
Have 2+ years of experience with Military training and training support
Knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of simulation systems, including software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Proficiency in systems administration, particularly with Windows and Linux/UNIX operating systems.
Experience in managing and configuring servers, workstations, and network hardware.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies, cloud services, and network security practices.
Meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT II requirements
Possess a Secret clearance
Required Education
BS/BA in related field
