Sr Python Engineer

Job Description

Seeking a Senior Python Engineer who will be responsible for digging into existing systems written in Python and debugging existing applications.

Candidate Years Experience

Must have 12 + years of IT experience.

Must have 7+ years of experience working for a US companies ‘On Shore’.

Must have 5+ years of ‘Recent’ experience working in a Banking environment.

Must have 6+ years experience as a Python developer working with versions 3.1 – 3.13.3.

Must have 6+ years’ experience writing Java, and C#.

Must Have 6+ years experience with scripting languages Perl, or Ruby, databases MS SQL, Sybase, Oracle.

Must have experience writing automated tests.

Must have experience with Agile practices (particularly Scrum).

Must have Domain experience, reconciliation, controls, operations technology within a large financial organization,

Experience with transaction reporting (MiFID etc).
