Position Title: Accounting Manager

Position Summary: The Accounting Manager will oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting, and driving process improvements. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership abilities and a passion for streamlining accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Manage and oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Month-End Close: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data.

Audit Support: Coordinate and manage external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation and information is provided.

Process Improvements: Identify and implement efficiencies to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting.

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Ad-Hoc Analysis: Provide financial analysis and support for various projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.

Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Problem-Solver: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
