What we are looking for:
The Drawing & Entering Operator performs drawing and entering processes for weaving manufacturing of medical or industrial clients.
What you will do:
Follows specifications to draw and enter in warp yarn into heddles and reed in the proper placement on harness frame or designated loom by using weaver’s hook and reed hook.
Identifies, reports to Operations Management, and makes corrections of drawing and entering specs and patterns to prevent defects in weaving.
Follows procedures and performs cleaning operation for heddle, harness, and reeds via proper use of ultrasonic tank.
Builds harness shaft(s) according to specifications and schedules establish by Operations team.
Completes all documentation requirements.
Performs tasks in accordance with applicable Work Instructions (WI), Visual Inspection Criteria, SOP’s, and internal specifications
Who you are:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 0-1 year related experience.
Must be able to read/comprehend Quality Manual and Standard Operating Procedures, as well as protocols, and other established procedures.
Basic understanding of GMP and working within regulated industries.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with peers and management.
Strong attention to detail.
Basic computer skills
Moderate experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multi-task change direction with shifting priorities
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
