Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available for the uping school year, serving kindergarten through 2nd-grade students with moderate to mild needs. This full-time, contract role runs from August 27th through June 6th.

Location: Amery, WI

Job Duration: Next School Year (NSY)

Grade Levels: Kindergarten 2nd Grade

Student Ratio: Approximately 10 students

Focus: Moderate and mild disabilities

Contract Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs

Provide direct instruction and support to students in a special education setting

Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive education practices

Monitor and document student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly

municate regularly with parents and guardians about student achievements and challenges

Qualifications:

Hold a valid Wisconsin cross-categorical special education teaching license

Experience working with kindergarten through 2nd-grade students in a special education setting

Ability to manage a classroom of approximately 10 students with diverse needs

Strong munication and collaboration skills
