Machinist- 3rd Shift

Advanced Blending Solutions LLC of Wallace, MI is looking to hire a full-time Machinist to join our 3rd shift production team.

Pay for this production position is $19.25+ dependent on relevant experience.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MACHINIST As a Machinist - 3rd Shift, you work in a clean, comfortable environment as you set up, adjust, and operate machine tools such as lathes and milling machines and machine parts to specifications.

You will load vices with raw materials and interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances.

Quality is essential as you conduct first article and in process inspections to verify accuracy and conformance with standards.

Our machinists observe machine operations, interpret engineering drawings, take measurements, and monitor for any malfunctions.

As an machinist, you may be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance on the machines, trouble-shoot malfunctions, and perform basic repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MACHINIST-3rd Shift * Read and interpret blue prints * Knowledge of measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures * Organized, accurate, and detail oriented * Efficient time management * Effective verbal communication * Complete training to become forklift certified within 30 days * Lift up to 25 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally * High school diploma or equivalent, experience using lathes and milling equipment preferred 3rd SHIFT WORK SCHEDULE AS A MACHINIST The typical schedule for this full-time 3rd shift position is Sunday - Thursday from 7 pm to 5:30 am with weekends free!
