Position Focus: Reporting to the Director of Fatherhood & Family Ministry [D-FFM], the Senior Manager of Fatherhood & Family Ministry (PNW) [SM-FFM] assists in leading Care Net’s network of pregnancy centers, churches, organizations, and individuals to embrace ministry to men and families. The SM-FFM implements father-friendly strategies, resources, projects, and programs to increase the number of pregnancy centers and other organizations serving fathers and building families. The SM-FFM helps to carry out Care Net’s Pro-Abundant Life mission, vision, and strategies and personifies the ministry of Care Net by being a witness for Christ through their life, words, and deeds.
Job Summary: The SM-FFM will be responsible for managing and coordinating project activities at 15 designated pregnancy center sites in the Pacific Northwest states of AK, ID, MT, OR and WA. This role involves outreach, planning, executing, and closing projects over three years while ensuring that all project objectives are met on time, within scope, and budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent organizational skills, familiarity with the pregnancy care center model of ministry or a related para-church ministry, and the ability to multi-functional teams of staff and volunteers effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and support to ensure project success. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
Site Management: Oversee all activities at project sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address project challenges and implement corrective actions as needed.
Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources. Track expenses and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Provide status updates, report progress, and address any concerns or inquiries.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain a comprehensive project documentation matrix for each of the 15 sites, including project plans, progress reports, and final project deliverables. Ensure all project records are accurate and up to date.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications. Conduct site visits and progress checks at various stages of the project to identify opportunities for improvement and to capture “lessons learned” to share with team members for the benefit of other Fatherhood Project sites.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Assist D-FFM in ensuring fatherhood materials are up to date and meeting the needs of pregnancy centers.
Network Expansion: Assist in growing “Fatherhood Connect” Facebook group and email list of fatherhood contacts through periodic live events and original content.
Care Net National Conference:
Performs duties, as assigned, at the Care Net National Conference
Participates in other events, meetings, speaking engagements, and other activities as Care Net’s representative, as assigned
General:
Assist in developing reports on the progress of Fatherhood & Family for key staff
Support the D-FFM and SED-CS on special projects as assigned
Maintain records of affiliate contacts where customer care is provided within the HubSpot database
Regular travel to project sites in the Pacific Northwest, and orientation training (possibly in the VA office)
Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience leading pregnancy center men’s services
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Excellent customer service skills including an ability to resolve problems and satisfy those with complaints
Strong sales and marketing skills
Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills, including in public speaking and making on-camera presentations
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to deliver factual content in a creative and engaging way; as well as strong editing skills, including the ability to amend content for clarity, spelling, grammar, and readability
Strong analytical skills
Familiarity with the Google Suite of applications for work
Proficient in working with Microsoft Office software applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong technical skills including the ability to learn new applications, problem-solve, and assist others
Able to effectively balance multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, while achieving specific objectives
Able to work independently with minimal direction

Preferred Qualifications:
Five years of experience in customer service, content development, office administration, management, pregnancy center ministry, or a related field
Experience in the use of cloud-based databases and data entry
Master's Degree or nonprofit leadership certification or project management certification
Additional experience and expertise in related non-profit work and family ministry (pastoral ministry, youth ministry, campus ministry, prison ministry, family counseling, etc.)
