Role: Lead/Senior Snowflake Developer with AWS exp (Hybrid 2 Days Onsite/ Week)

Job Description:

Needed:

At least 12 years of software development experience, and minimum 6 years of experience on Snowflake development in AWS

Responsible for supporting data intelligence solutions around Snowflake Data Warehouse.

A solid experience and understanding of architecting, designing and operationalization of large scale data and analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse is a must.

Snowflake SQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake, developing scripts in python to do Extract, Load, and Transform data

Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities such as SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures.

In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept and modelling structure principles

Understanding data transformation and translation requirements and which tools to leverage to get the job done

Experience in Data warehousing - OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modelling.

Experience gathering and analysing system requirements

Developing ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination of Python and Snowflakes SnowSQL Writing SQL queries against Snowflake

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of Snowflake data warehousing solutions.

Manage deployment, configuration, and administration of Snowflake environments.

Collaborate with data architects and engineers to develop scalable data solutions.

Ensure security and compliance standards are met within the Snowflake environment.

Optimize the performance of Snowflake queries and data pipelines.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Evaluate and implement best practices for data warehousing and storage.

Coordinate with stakeholders to understand and meet data requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience in leading Snowflake implementation and management.

Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture.

Experience with ETL tools, SQL, and data modeling.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
