Mechanical DQA Engineer is responsible for all mechanical reliability and quality test plans and executions. This role has a considerable effect on new product development to help the team explore potential risks during the NPI stage.
Responsibilities
Review PDR and generate a mechanical test plan
Evaluate the product’s reliability and quality during the NPI stage
Work with the team to resolve reliability and quality issues
Create and maintain relevant documentation
Do the research on safety/reliability standards and improve the test plan accordingly
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of Mechanical DQA engineering
Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering
Good understanding of reliability test standards (Theory / Approach / Criteria)
Excellent problem analysis and solving capabilities
Great communication skills to work with the team and 3rd party labs
Passionate about exploring new regulations/standards/technologies
Self-motivated and detail-oriented personality
Fair English speaking and writing skills
Technical Requirements
Work experience in outdoor equipment/power products/automotive devices
Practical experience of dealing with problems with statistical tools, such as Six Sigma, DOE, Gauge R&R, DFMEA, etc.
